Ellisa Mimlitsch, LCSW

Ellisa has a warm and directive approach to counseling. She partners with her clients to help them get "unstuck," and feel more successful in their relationships and in attaining life goals. In her work with clients of any age, her goal is to listen, reflect, and also to offer practical suggestions, including trying new behaviors, new ways of viewing situations or relationships, and trying different "tools" to cope with anxiety, stress and change.

Ellisa gets to know each client well, and meet each client where they "are" emotionally, physically and mentally. She works with clients on short-term and longer-term goals to increase life and relationship satisfaction, teach skills to diffuse emotional conflict and manage overwhelming feelings. Bringing care and compassion to each client, she is deeply committed to helping her clients shift old, worn-out habits and patterns and discover new ways to live with greater well-being. Some areas of particular interest and training are:

  • Marriage and Couples Counseling
