Supervision Services

I am a Board-Approved Supervisor with the Texas LPC and LMFT Boards.  As a supervisor I provide a safe, supportive environment for my supervisees to learn, grow, and become more confident in their work. My goals as a supervisor are to facilitate my supervisees' discovery of their "true self" as a therapist, and to help my supervisees become more integrated and confident in their counselor identities and counseling approaches.

In my supervision work I draw from over 14 years of clinical experience in the Austin area working with individuals of all ages, as well as groups, families and couples, to assist supervisees in deciding which approach/path to take with their clients, and working with a supervisees' theoretical approach. We also work together to develop treatment plans for clients with short-term and long-term goals, and track progress and outcomes. I love sharing, teaching and supporting other professionals in training, which is why I do this work.

We will also stay up-to-date on changes to Board rules and develop individualized learning outcomes to focus on clinical growth. I have used a variety of different orientations with in my various roles as a psychotherapist, including relational-cultural, CBT, Person-Centered, Adlerian, Mindfullness/MBSR, Family Systems and Psychodynamic.

I am currently taking a limited number of interns for supervision. At this time supervision is a combination of individual meetings once a month and group supervision once a month. Supervision takes place both virtually and in my office. I do not supervise practicum students; only interns working toward full licensure with the Texas LPC or LMFT Board. Please contact me to schedule an in-person discussion if you are interested in my supervision services.
